Frenzy Showdown: A Poetry Break

A ball of furry frenzy rolls past me.
Leaving a cloud of dust in its wake
Upon further inspection, two fuzzy tails emerge.
Thick and puffy but standing tall
These two quickly scurry up a tree.
Where the frenzy begins once more,
Round 2 now begins
Until that same ball of fur falls to the forest floor, setting in confusion between the two rivals
Then they eye one another and start bickering back and forth.
Squeaky squeak is all I hear.
And right before one lunges at the other,
I move my foot just enough to put a temporary end to the quarrel.
Now all three of us are paused, sucked into a battle of stares,
Trying to determine who should make the first move,
Frozen with trepidation.
Breathing hard from the previous fight,
I put the two enemies at ease and made the move to exit.
Thinking I had ended a possible squirrel-tastrophe
I turned my back only for my ears to be met with the rumble of round 3.
