The way he speaks about me makes me feel special, not in a "I'm a pretty pretty princess" way. But strong and assured, like I'm more than how I see myself. He has placed me on a pedestal, however, It doesn't make me feel like I can't live up to how he views me. Quite the opposite, it makes me realize that I do live up to his version of me. That maybe he sees me more than I would have thought. He doesn't just see the potential of what could be, he sees what is, what I have achieved. As he speaks, his words make me brave and empowered. When he acknowledges me and all my accomplishments, its almost surreal. In the way his voice lowers and how his eyes become clear and serious, I can feel that he does this intentionally, so that I know all he says is truth. That this is how he sees me, sees my mind; my heart. I've never had anyone do that before, not in the same manner. Speaking life into me with such thoughtfulness and attention to the words he uses. There is confidence and strength to every word, every syllable, to every movement his mouth makes. It's addicting and a little consuming, to be seen, to be loved this way.
